Bootown's 1k Face 2 Face RCQ!Magic The GatheringModern2023-04-0112:00:001k Face to Face RCQ is back! Come join us for our Modern 1k. This event will have a guaranteed store credit prizing of $1,000.
Region Championship Qualifiers! (RCQ) - on top of the prizing there is 4 F2F RCQ invites. This means the top 4 competitors for each event will receive an invite to this seasons Face to Face Tour Championship!
Entry Fee: $45
*Due to the cost of running premium events Store Credit can not be used for entry*
Doors open at: 11am
Start Time: Noon
This event will have a number of rounds based on attendance with a cut to a top 8 .
Decklists are required.
Attendance Cap is 50 players.
1st - 300 + Invite to the F2F Tour Championship! + Double Sided Thing in the Ice Championship Playmat
(1st place also has the option for 175 credit and a $80 Cash stipend to pay for the Tour event fee)
2nd - 200 + Invite to the F2F Tour Championship!
3rd-4th - 100 + Invite to the F2F Tour Championship!
5th-8th - 50
9th-12th - 25
Top 4 will receive Foil Alternate Art Thing in the Ice
Top 12 will receive Thing in the Ice
First 48 players to register will receive an alternate art Mystical Dispute

''Near Mint (NM)'
Near Mint condition cards show minimal or no wear from play or handling and will have an unmarked surface, crisp corners, and otherwise pristine edges outside of minimal handling. Near Mint condition cards appear 'fresh out of the pack,' with edges and surfaces virtually free from all flaws. '

''Lightly Played (LP)'
Lightly Played condition cards can have slight border or corner wear, or possibly minor scratches. No major defects are present, and there are less than 4 total flaws on the card. Lightly Played condition foils may have slight fading or indications of wear on the card face. '

''Moderately Played (MP)'
Moderately Played condition cards have moderate wear, or flaws apparent to the naked eye. Moderately Played condition cards can show moderate border wear, mild corner wear, water damage, scratches , creases or fading, light dirt buildup, or any combination of these defects. '

''Heavily Played (HP)'
Heavily Played condition cards exhibit signs of heavy wear. Heavily Played condition cards may include cards that have significant creasing, folding, severe water damage, heavy whitening, heavy border wear, and /or tearing. '

''Damaged (D)'
Damaged condition cards show obvious tears, bends, or creases that could make the card illegal for tournament play, even when sleeved. Damaged condition cards have massive border wear, possible writing or major inking (ex. white-bordered cards with black-markered front borders), massive corner wear, prevalent scratching, folds, creases or tears. '
